Burgess Needle is a Tucson writer whose work has most recently appeared in Under the Radar, Decanto, Brittle Star,
Every Day Poets, Blackbox Manifold, Concho River Review, Raving Dove, Centrifugal Eye, Iodine, Full of Crow, Kritya, and Red Fez. He taught English for two years in a small Thai village for the Peace Corps, has been a co-director of the Southern Arizona Writing Project, co-published and edited the poetry journal Prickly Pear/Tucson for five years, was a school librarian for thirty years and, as a Minister in the Universal Life Church, has performed two marriages.
