MegTuite What can I say? April is hatching eggs and painting eggs, but for some hopefully not fertilizing them. So, I’m sending out love to all those wearing shorts in 40-degree weather to force that goddamn spring on us! We have an exceptional group of writers for our mid-April issue. Joseph Quintela is making huge waves all over the solar system and his eggs are being frozen for future spawn. So, I give you this amazing issue of Connotation Press. Sublime work from illuminating writers.

Joseph Quintela and Douglas Kearney are the featured writers in this issue. It’s a three-way interview that is mind-blowing! They are on to some very exciting projects! Also included are some of Joseph Quintela’s exceptional flash pieces and a few of the pages from Douglas Kearney’s explosive chapbook published by Joseph Quintela in the A5 Series (Deadly Chaps Press).

Danny Goodman delivers a powerful story “Riverbed,” that deals with impending death in many facets, including the death of innocence.

Josh Denslow captivates with his story “The Hero.” A man finds that life has plunged him into the most ludicrous of situations and how it changes him.

Rusty Barnes gives us three exceptional, haunting flash stories, “Dark Stars,” “The Thing Big Revolution with Michael Martell” and “The Virgin Treatment.”

Brittany Connolly brings us a heartbreaking story, “Mt. Sissy.” A girl, her lizard and the mountain dance. Unforgettable!

Enjoy!
