Rusty Barnes lives and works in Revere MA but grew up in northern Appalachia, where many of his stories are set.
He's shopping a novel called Three of a Kind, and a poetry manuscript called Gangfuck. He's published two well-received collections of fiction, Breaking it Down (2007) and Mostly Redneck (2011).
