Leonid Leonov was born in 1985 in Kiev, Ukraine. His family emigrated from the Soviet Union to the United States in 1990, and he spent his formative years outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since then, he has called Los Angeles his home
and has attended Loyola Marymount University, where he studied English and Economics, and UC Riverside, where he is currently getting his Creative Writing MFA. ---------
